Frannie Crego (12 years old) has been playing the violin since kindergarten, but had the urge to pick up the guitar as well. She got her own acoustic guitar for Christmas of 2013, and quickly learned to play it after her father showed her a few chords. By May of 2014 she had written some songs, learned some covers, and performed a few gigs. She is influenced by folk singers of the 60s and 70s such as Bob Dylan and Paul Simon. Her modern influences include First Aid Kit and Haley Bonar, from whom she took a song writing class this past spring. Frannie continues to hone in her craft learning and taking cues from her father, Jim Crego, who often accompanies her during performances.
