The Provisional is a Celtic Folk/Rock Trio from St Paul, playing modified Celtic Standards and original music in a similar style. Drummer Tony Dennison is a former member of the Washington DC based band “Smart went Crazy” who recorded two albums for the independent/punk rock label Dischord Records. Singer/Mandolin player Brian Barrett has knocked around the Minneapolis scene for a number of years to nominal impact. Bass player Sid Barrett works as an Auto Mechanic. April 7th will be their first time playing in a Church.
