Bhutanese Refugee Family Sponsorship

House of Mercy is considering sponsoring a Bhutanese refugee family through the Minnesota Council of Churches.  Bhutan is a small mountain kingdom near Nepal.  The Hindu minority have been systematically oppressed and expelled from the country.  Many are coming to Minnesota.  We will be holding an informational meeting August 29th before church at 4pm..  Come and learn more about the Bhutanese and how we might help.  We’ll hear from Kristin from the Refugee Resettlement office as well as a Bhutanese refugee.  Please come.  This would be a really good thing to do.
