Blessing of the Bike(r)s

Bike to church, get a special blessing!

We celebrate the role of bicycles in our community – they transport us with clean energy, they make us physically strong, they connect us to the air and sun and rain on a first name basis.
This Sunday, youngsters will hear the amazing journey of our friends Lisa Burke and Dan Gjelten, who biked all the way from St. Paul to New Orleans this summer. After church there will be a short blessing bestowed on all bikers and bicycles who gather near the courtyard.
