Lisa and Dan Burke’s 2019 benefit for Friends of the Mississippi River will feature Dusty Heart, a duo composed of Molly Dean and Barbara Jean. Their songs and harmonies are beautiful, and you’ll love them. No tickets are sold, but they hope that you help support the work of this great organization!
We’ll gather starting at 6, with remarks and music starting at 7 p.m. Please bring friends, your checkbook, some chairs or a blanket to sit on, and a dish to share. The canoe will be full of cold beverages and we’re hoping for a perfect late summer evening.
The Friends of the Mississippi River “engages citizens to protect, restore and enhance the Mississippi River and its watershed in the Twin Cities region.” They are lovely people doing important work that benefits us all.
