Musical Guest: Angie Talle
Angie has been coming to House of Mercy for 14 years. She heard about it from a friend. Angie began singing with the “CP Larson version of the band 10 or so years ago … then with Razz and finally with Page.”  Angie says “I feel really lucky to have gotten to sing with such talented guys like them!!” Which partly explains how those two guys ended up in her mural. You’ve probably seen that sparkly, captivating mosaic on the side of the Turf Club.

Angie grew up singing in church (she’s a pastor’s kid) and in old folks homes with her dad. Both of her parents sing and play piano and guitar, and so does Angie. Favorite hymn? “I love so many hymns … I Need Thee Every Hour, Precious Lord, Come Thou Fount.” Angie calls Minneapolis home, along with her two boys and husband Adam. Though she’s on hiatus from The Blood Washed Band, our beloved songstress is “knee deep in diapers and burp cloths” these days.

We are super delighted to have Angie back now and then at House of Mercy.
