Musical Guest: Jack Klatt Longtime friend of the HoM, Jack Klatt is a singer, songwriter and seasoned traveler. Sound and Tonic noted: “If you ever wanted a John Steinbeck character to crawl from his novel and take up the life of a traveling musician, then Jack Klatt is your man.”

A native of Minnesota’s riverbanks, Klatt combines musical traditions from hokum blues to the roots of country music, and has been criss-crossing the lower 48, Europe and Canada, spreading his brand of American music. He’s a “self-taught musician and lyricist with eyes and ears wide open, always eager to soak up songs and stories.” and has sang in “countless barrooms, cafes, living rooms, theaters and street corners all over the world, entertaining folks with his boisterous finger-picking style and whiskey worn voice, continuing the troubador tradition of folks like Utah Phillips, Blind Willie MacTell and Towns Van Zandt.”.
