Tom Hipps got his big musical break in 9th grade when his band, THE RITZ, “scored a gig playing at a Good Year Auto Service Center for a crew of beer-drinking mechanics at the end of their shift.” The band geared up for more after-school rehearsals which lead to a regional following, radio airplay, and touring. 
You can catch Tom performing in solo acoustic shows, with music duo COSTELLO & HIPPS, or in his Spirit-fueled rock band FROM ORDINARY, depending on the venue and type of event. Tom takes “great pleasure in occasionally serving as a guest music worship leader at various churches” and his relationships with the MN Assistance Council for Veterans, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Crossroads Chapel at the MN State Fair, and other charitable causes and ministries. We are thankful to have Tom in our House of Mercy community.
