Music at House of Mercy

Since way back in the long-a-goes from the very beginnings of House of Mercy we have always had a guest artist play each week in the Sunday evening service. What ever faith, creedo, or religiosity matters not, we just knew that good live music performed passionately is always balm for the soul (not that you are expected to have one—that is, of course, your choice). We are so grateful to the hundreds of folks who have come and played.

Previous musical guests have included Gordon Gano (of the Violent Femmes), Low Wendy Lewis, The Brass Messengers, Reina Del Cid, Little Omar, Roe Family Singers, Mother Banjo, Charlie Parr, The Cactus Blossoms, Holly Newsome (of Zoo Animal), Jasper Lepak, Davina & The Vagabonds, Ralph Stanley, and Charlie Louvin, among many others.
