Street Art Stations of the Cross
Good Friday, 7pm, March 29, 2013
514 Englewood Ave, St Paul, MN 55104
We have invited artist to interpret the 14 Stations of the Cross in the context of street art. The stations of the cross have historically been street art. They were erected outside in the streets of a town or a cloister. Of course the original Via Dolorosa depicted by the stations is Jesus’ journey through the streets of Jerusalem to Golgotha. Images of the street installations will be used during the Good Friday service
Feast of the Revolution, Easter Sunday March 31, 5pm.
There will be music, feasting and the liturgical arts. Come and celebrate the resurrection. With special musical, Patty and the Buttons. Patty and The Buttons preach the gospel of hot rhythm and happy feet. The band is similar to what you would find in a dance hall, cafe or nightclub anywhere around the world between 1920-1940.
