*The Feast of Jonah is here . . . or almost here. Please join us for this one-of-a-kind worship service this Sunday, September 26th. Following the Autumnal Equinox, the hours of darkness begin to surpass the hours of light. The Equinox was marked by rituals in most every culture. It is a time of turning inward, of going down into ourselves, our dens, the earth. It is a period of contemplation.
House of Mercy will have a dedicated worship service with liturgical art, readings, contemplation, music and of course a Feast.
The Feast will be held at Kriss & Chris’ house immediately after the service.Chris and Kriss live at 1195 Burns Ave., St. Paul, 55106, about a 10 minute drive from the church.
TO GET THERE: Go east on 94. After you pass downtown St. Paul, exit on Hwy 61 south. Take your first right on Burns Ave. After 3 blocks, watch for signs on the right side. Park on the street. Walk up the hill to the house. The Feast is BYOB — please bring whatever you’d like to drink.
Thanks to Chris for hosting the party afterwards. It was a great time.
It was a lovely Feast Of Jonah. I hope I didn't diminish anybody's enjoyment running around with my camera. I'm sure you'll enjoy the video, which is almost uploaded now.
